First Light Fusion
First Light Fusion is a company spun out from the University of Oxford. Founded by Nick Hawker and Professor Yiannis Ventikos, First Light aims to create a commercial fusion energy platform that will provide virtually limitless clean energy. First Light present a new and unique method for nuclear fusion, inertial confinement fusion.
Over the past year and half we have been working on a detailed millisecond by millisecond 3D animation. Demonstrating the unique and fascinating process involved in producing inertial confinement fusion on a large scale.
With the goal of creating an accurate impression of how an operational reactor will function. The minutiae of how the reactor operates, are for now a closely guarded secret so as yet nothing can be released into the public domain.
